Tailor To The Crown Awards

The "Tailor (or Seamstress) to the Crown" award is given by Their Majesties to a gentle who has been involved in creating garb for Their Majesties. Some Royals choose to call the award "Artisan to the Crown" and give it to those who have created other gifts as well.

In either case, rather than giving the recipient a scroll to commemorate the award, in recent reigns the Royals have given a small item of jewelry, which the Metalsmiths' Guild has been honored to provide to Them for this purpose. This allows the recipient to wear their award on their person, as well as takes some of the burden off of the Kingdom's Calligraphers, who would otherwise be called upon to create a large number of awards scrolls for this purpose.
